Yanique Barnes, Dreamers & Lovers creator, became an accidental wedding dress designer guided by divine intervention. After years of seeking a creative pursuit, she designed three non-wedding dresses, listed them on Etsy, and brides bought them up. Yanique built Dreamers & Lovers out of sheer faith. Launched in 2012, what has grown from humble beginnings is nothing short of a miracle.

The awe of her start causes her to feel a deep sense of obligation to this calling. This gratitude is sewn into each dress. Yanique designs with a unique eye for detail, craftsmanship as art, and a belief that doing more than expected is where magic is born. Dreamers & Lovers’ aim is for every bride to feel beautiful, confident, and like herself when she wears her dress.
